Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide basic knowledge about the biological networks underlying human behaviour and learning processes. Furthermore, the various mechanisms of plasticity correlated with the daily life experiences and environmental factors will be discussed. A specific part of the course will be dedicated to the neuroscientific studies on embodied cognition theories and their contribution to philosophy. The students will learn the abilities necessary to the update of their knwoledge

Examination Methods
Written exam with open questions regarding the different parts of the course. Some questions about the bases of nervous system, perception and cognition will be asked in order to evaluate the general knowledge of the students. Regarding the application of knwoledge to philosophy, there will be some questions regarding the embodied cognition theories.
