Following the historical path of some of the major publishing houses of the twentieth century, we want to provide students in the form of monographic lessons with the knowledge of the roles and functions carried out within the publishing chain. Some mechanisms will be explained such as distribution, market trends also following the pandemic.
The goal is to provide a rich and structured overview of the publishing reality and explore the main processes that create them. At the end of the course the student will be able to understand the functioning of the modernly organized publishing industry.

Didactic methods
Attendance is highly recommended; the contents will be the subject of lectures and meetings with industry experts
Learning assessment procedures
The exam will be oral and carried out to ascertain the knowledge of the basic concepts, of the context in which publishers have found themselves operating even in a pandemic period and the new models that have emerged in the publishing chain.
Evaluation criteria
The evaluation will be out of thirty and the knowledge and skills acquired as well as an adequate exposition capacity will be evaluated.
