Learning outcomes
Provide to the students the knowledge necessary for analyzing the size of the different enterprises, the functions of strategic management and its conditions of economic viability.
Program
The course will analyze the subjects that contribute to the realization of the companies and their roles: the legal entity, the business risk, the governance and, structure of the the board. The share capital of the companies during constitution, normal functioning, terminations.
Analysis of financial ratios. Management tools: linear programming; judgments of cost-effectiveness of the investments.
Examples presented and discussed during the course: the budget of a winery; budgets and final accounts; analysis of the financial results.
Examination Methods
Written Exam. The final exam will be divided into two parts: the first in open questions, the second with the analysis of balance sheet and an exercise.
