Learning objectives
Anatomic pathology Educational objectives. Purposes and roles of anatomic pathology. The student will have the opportunity to learn the basics of inflammatory, dysmetabolic and neoplastic diseases of the main organs. The various types of oral pathology, salivary glands and head-neck region will be evaluated and analyzed so that they are applied to daily clinical activity. To provide autonomous judgment in carrying out morphological-type diagnostic reasoning. Students will be provided with the notions of communication skills, in order to be able to express themselves correctly from a technical point of view and to relate to the pathologist in the diagnostic phases. Neoplasms, main inflammatory, dystrophic and degenerative pathological aspects.
Prerequisites and basic notions
Knowledge of the basics of general pathology related to inflammation and tumor pathology with particular reference to carcinogenesis and cancer progression
