Learning outcomes

Comprensione ed uso del vocabolario specifico dell’Odontoiatria in materia di anatomia, patologie, diagnosi e aree d’intervento, pratiche di prevenzione e cura, materiali dentali, strumentazioni e impiantistica. Acquisizione della competenza comunicativa adeguata – inclusa la capacità di negoziare il messaggio in presenza di differenze culturali – per relazionarsi con pazienti e team odontoiatrico.
Capacità di ricerca e consultazione di testi scientifici in materia odontoiatrica.
Produzione di testi scritti e relazioni orali in materia.

Examination Methods

Test scritto propedeutico alla prova orale.
Nel corso delle lezioni verranno organizzate due prove in itinere che concorreranno alla definizione della valutazione finale: una prova sarà volta all’accertamento della comprensione e alla produzione di testi scientifici inerenti la professione, l’altra consisterà in una simulazione di un caso clinico in cui la comunicazione in inglese con pazienti, familiari e il team clinico è cruciale (in particolare in situazione di compresenza di differenti background culturali).
