Learning outcomes
Acquisition of the clinical scientific methodology for a correct approach to the etiopathogenesis, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of skeletal and oral pathologies of the pediatric subject (from zero to 15 years).
Program
Acquisition of the clinical scientific methodology for a correct approach to the diagnosis of the skeletal and oral pathologies of the pediatric subject (from zero to 15 years). Acquisition of knowledge for the execution of correct treatment plans and implementation of preventive and therapeutic protocols in the dental and maxillofacial fields. Knowledge of the main congenital and acquired, acute and chronic pathologies of odontostomatological and maxillofacial relevance. In-depth knowledge in the field of prevention and treatment of carious pathology, even early childhood, and of oral and dental traumatology.
The object of study are the stomatognathic manifestations of systemic diseases and early onset odontogenic pathologies. Specific training on the dynamism and function of the neuromuscular and dental skeletal structures of the craniofacial district, in order to diagnose, prevent aggravations and treat orthodontic-gnathological problems of the patient in developmental age.
Limits of intervention in loco-regional anesthesia and operating margins in conscious, pharmacological and general anesthesia sedation: indications, contraindications, complications and operational risks. Acquisition of the clinical scientific methodology for a correct approach to the diagnosis of the skeletal and oral pathologies of the pediatric subject (from zero to 15 years).
