Learning outcomes
We are focused on management and application of diagnostic and therapeutic processes which are needed for nursing to patients in different setting both in hospital and in the community. This course has its foundation on safety and efficacy of nursing and to evaluate the progresses of nursing with an interdisciplinary team. The approach takes into consideration practicing diagnostic and therapeutic processes and strategy to evaluate outcome

Physiology of digestion and absorption of nutrients and water.
Oral nutritional support (ONS) and nutritional miscelae.
Nutritional approach to obesity, malnutrition and cachexia.
Diet in people affected by cardiovascular disease and by liver chronic illness; diets examples; some introduction about hospital catering
