Learning objectives
The course aims to provide students with the basic knowledge of neonatology (healthy newborn); particular attention will be paid to nutrition, guiding the student to acquire skills for the promotion and support of breastfeeding according to WHO/Unicef guidelines. The student will also be guided to acquire knowledge and skills related to the assistance to the puerpera and the newborn, from post partum up to the first month of life.
