Learning objectives
The course main aims includes student's acquisition of main knowledge in clinical, general and health psychology, with specific focus on affective and cognitive development of the child, psychological reactions to organic disease and psychology / psychopathology related to the different stages of reproductive life, pregnancy and the perinatal period. The course also provide students on knowledge, methodological and technical skills to promote health, in professional relationship with woman during life's course. The student will also know models of transcultural Midwifery, with attention to the main health problems of migrants (specifically sexual and reproductive health) and their educational needs.
Prerequisites and basic notions
Module prerequisites are:
frequency of the previous year lessons
what is defined by the didactic regulations of the CdL obstetrics with regard to preparatory courses and barriers

Criteria for the composition of the final grade
The score obtained will be calculated through the weighted average of all the teaching modules, written exam and oral exam; honors will be awarded to students who have obtained the maximum score in the written test and have demonstrated completeness and in-depth analysis and judgment skills during the oral interview.
