Learning objectives
The course's main aim includes the students' acquisition of the main knowledge in normal birth and midwifery support during labour and birth, according to a woman centered model and main obsteric guidelines. The course also includes students' acquisition of the main knowledge to work with pregnant women, in an educational project.
Prerequisites and basic notions
before being able to take all the exams of the 2nd year of the course it is necessary to have passed the exam of the teaching of Morphological and functional foundations of life

Criteria for the composition of the final grade
The final grade is expressed out of thirty. The module exam includes an oral interview, aimed at evaluating: breadth and depth of the knowledge acquired, ability to connect knowledge, analytical and argumentative skills, ability to apply theoretical knowledge in proposed healthcare situations/clinical cases, properties of professional language. The score obtained will be calculated through the weighted average of all teaching modules, written exam and oral exam; honors will be awarded to students who have obtained the maximum score in the written test and have demonstrated completeness and in-depth analytical and judgment skills during the oral interview.
