Learning objectives
Know the assessment and intervention strategies (preventive, curative, rehabilitative) in dysfunctions related to sports activities, paying attention to gesture-specific dysfunctions. Know and be able to apply the principles of intervention in case of severe conditions.
Prerequisites and basic notions
know the anatomy and kinesiology of the lower limb in order to correlate it with the clinical pictures in sports traumatology, with particular attention to the foot, knee and hip areas.
Program
the program involves the in-depth study of traumatic pathologies in the sports field of the lower limb. in this case, traumatic ankle pathologies will be analysed: - lateral ligament lesions - medial ligament lesions - "high ankle" lesions - osteochondral lesions. The anamnestic and clinical evaluation methods of the various clinical events will also be presented. The traumatic knee pathologies will also be presented: ACL, PCL, LCM, LCL, PLC, PMC with their respective tests and clinical presentation. the clinical picture of groin pain will also be presented with the various specific subgroups.
