Learning outcomes
to know the specificity of physiotherapy in pediatric age (holistic approach, evolutionary process, concept of habilitation-rehabilitation, centrality of the family) for the musculoskeletal, cardio-pulmonary, central and peripheral nervous systems. Know the methodology for treating childhood disabilities and knowing how to set up a physiotherapy program.
Know the principles and methods of physiotherapy intervention in the main childhood neuropsychiatric pathologies. Know and apply the general lines of physiotherapy treatment of postural torticollis and congenital myogenic torticollis, congenital clubfoot, obstetric lesions of the brachial plexus, congenital hip dislocation, dysmorphism of the spine, both rehabilitative, orthotic and post-surgical.
Know the basics of the premature baby's assessment observation
Know the fundamental elements of post-surgical physiotherapy (functional surgery) and post-inoculation of botulinum toxin in disabilities with neurological damage.

MM: Methodology of rehabilitation in developmental age

Written exam with both general and detailed questions, in relation to the topics covered in class. Oral exam in progress. The aim is to evaluate the results of the expected learning. The evaluation will be expressed out of thirty.
