Program

This course will include different topics related to neurological semeiotics and the presentation of the most important neurological diseases:
- Clinical approach of patients affected by neurological diseases;
- Medical history and physical examination;
- Main neurological syndromes;
- Ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke;
- Syncope, epilepsy;
- Parkinson's disease and parkinsonisms;
- Dementia;
- Neuropathic pain;
- Inflammatory diseases of the central nervous system;

Didactic methods

The teacher will use interactive lectures and presentation of clinical cases to deepen the issues addressed

Learning assessment procedures

Verification of learning will take place with an oral interview in which the ability to discursively organize knowledge on diagnostic and therapeutic aspects will be assessed; critical reasoning skills; quality of exposure, competence in the use of specialized vocabulary.

The evaluation will be expressed out of thirty.
