Learning outcomes
Acquisire la capacità di applicare le conoscenze apprese dalle lezioni frontali nella pianificazione del processo fisioterapico su casi clinici reali, videoregistrati, su carta, simulati affetti da patologie muscolo-scheletriche o neurologiche. Sviluppare il ragionamento clinico dalla raccolta dei dati alla pianificazione e realizzazione dell’intervento fisioterapico. Organizzare esercizi terapeutici tenendo conto dei principali aspetti (es. biomeccanici, comunicativi, educativi …) e di applicare tecniche di terapie manuali di base.
Program
In the ambit of neurological patology applying placement and transfer techniques of the assisted person. In particular making the postural alignment, postural steps and tranfers of the hemiplegic, paraplegic and quadriplegic patient, reasoning on the modality choice in relation to the movement and cognitive skills but also in relation to the goals and the context. The professor will do a demonstration and pratical exercises in small groups with technical supervision.
Clinical reasoning applied to the neurological patient:
It is firstly based on the acknowledgmnet of the clinical documents and observation of real-case videos. Teamwork in small groups to organise the knowledge and the clinical reasoning through the use of a conceptual map organised on the rules of the ICF. In this way the student formulate functional diagnostic hypotheses and then he will identify the physioterapy goals and the therapeutic proposals consistent with the reasoning.
Secondly clinical reasoning based on reality with patient at the U.O. gym of neurorehabilitation with the vision of documents, strumental exams, observation and patient interview.
Evaluation and neurorehabilitation exam aimed at identifying problems and goals of treatment.
Application of the reasoning in the treatment of the patient from the students with supervision of the professor. Revaluation and reflection on the treatment process.
