Learning outcomes
Recognize the fundamental elements of the therapeutic relationship within an educational / rehabilitative framework
Understand the main traits of one's own communicative style
Learn the essential components of empathic listening in interacting with the patient, tutors and groups
Know the methodology of therapeutic education, the essential features of an educational project, the core principles of evaluation and assessment applied to learning processes and change
Reflect on current and relevant educational aspects and acquire a general overview of the individual's development and learning needs in the care field.

Examination Methods
The exam procedure is the same for attending and non-attending students.
The achievement of knowledge objectives (knowledge of the constitutive elements of the therapeutic relationship with an educational / rehabilitative purpose, of the essential components of empathic listening, of the methodology of therapeutic education, the essential components of an educational project, the methods of evaluating verification of learning) will be assessed through an oral test.
The knowledge of the methodology of therapeutic education and the quality of the educational reasoning will be assessed basing on a project work (an educational plan produced by each student applied to their professional context).
The development objectives of developing reflective and self-understanding skills will be assessed both in the written paper and in the oral interview.
Individual descriptive feedback will be sent on the project work only in the event that is requires major revisions. In all other cases, the final note will be communicated during the interview.
