Learning outcomes

Describe the main neurological syndromes in relation to the site of damage; to implement the cognitive and communicative-linguistic balance and the rehabilitation program of aphasic and dysarthric disorders; to implement counseling for family members of patients with aphasia and dysarthria. MODULE LOGOPEDIA OF AFASIC AND DISARTIC DISORDERS Training objectives: Describe and classify the main aphasia and dysarthria pictures Knowing how to describe the various rehabilitative approaches in aphasic treatment Knowing how to describe the speech therapy evaluation process and the speech therapy balance of aphasic and dysarthric disorders Knowing how to evaluate the communication for the definition of the rehabilitation program To know the counseling addressed to the families of patients with aphasia and / or dysarthria. NEUROANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY OF SUPERIOR CORTICAL FUNCTIONS Training objectives: Anatomical and functional organization of the Central and Peripheral Nervous System. Anatomo-clinical correlations; diagnosis of the location of the main neurological syndromes of particular importance for speech therapists. The course will emphasize the aspects of clinical and semeiotic anatomy of the main neuro-cognitive and cranial nerve domains, trying to provide elements for the pathophysiological understanding of neurological diseases of the adult of interest to the speech therapist (cerebrovascular diseases, dementias, motor neuron diseases , parkinsonism)
