CARDIORESPIRATORY EMERGENCIES AND ANESTHESIA MODULE The aim of course is to provide students with knowledge of the main cardio-circulatory and respiratory emergencies, their treatment and the use of extracorporeal support techniques. - METHODS AND TECHNIQUES OF EXTRACORPOREAL OXIGENATION MODULE (ECLS) Training Aims: the goal of course is to provide basis for the management of the patient on ECMO. At the end of the course students will be able to understand indications and controindications of the ECMO, to evaluate the best strategies for each patients and apply the best technique to start assistance, to mount and to assemble all of circuit components. Students will be able to face and solve the most frequent and common "accidents" through simulations in virtual contexts and practical tests. MECHANICAL CARDIORESPIRATORY ASSISTANCE SYSTEMS MODULE: Training Aims: The aim of the course is to provide the basis for the management of the patient in ECMO in intensive care.
