Learning outcomes
Drawing on a selection of texts dating from the past two hundred years, the course will shed light on a range of socio-cultural issues concerning the French society at large and the cultural debate thereof. It will also provide a comparison with the Italian society, especially with regards to education and training processes.
Program
Close reading of XIX- and XX-century texts concerning the nature of human beings and their role in society.
