Learning objectives
GENERAL OBJECTIVES: - Critically understand the psychological perspective regarding the relationship between individual, socio-educational, emotional, and cultural factors. - Apply the psychological perspective critically to the relationship between individual, socio-educational, emotional, and cultural factors. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: The course aims to present current conceptions of emotions and how issues and dynamics related to the world of emotions are explained today. The main purpose is to facilitate students' understanding of emotional dynamics and how people experience them and adopt strategies to manage and control them, at the individual and group level. Particular attention will be paid to emotion regulation processes and their effects on mental functioning and well-being. The course has the following specific educational objectives: - develop the ability to recognize emotional dynamics that individuals adopt in different contexts, with particular attention to contexts where such dynamics occur at the individual, group, or organizational level; - develop the ability to analyze the functionality and dysfunctionality of these dynamics in relation to the context in which they are implemented, especially in relation to the use of psychological processes of emotion regulation.
