What is Pathological Anatomy. Elementary lesions in pathological anatomy (concept of hyperplasia, hypertrophy, dysplasia, neoplasia, benign and malignant tumor), acute and chronic inflammation, thrombosis, embolism, infarction. Traumatic bone pathology (fractures and repair; complications of fractures). Pathogenetic mechanism and anatomical-clinical correlation of osteomylets; osteoporosis, osteogenesis imperfecta. Definition of Osteoarthritis and Arthritis. Bone tumors. Pathology of the CNS and anatomo-clinical correlation: demyelinating diseases; neurodegenerative diseases; meningitis and encephalitis; infarction and cerebral hemorrhage.

Evaluation criteria
Level of understanding and knowledge of the pathogenetic mechanisms and of the anatomical-clinical correlation of the main pathologies of the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system.
