Learning objectives

Provide basic knowledge regarding pharmacology, general pathology, microbiology, internal medicine and medical therapy of physiotherapy concern. FUNDAMENTALS OF ORTHOPEDICS: acquire the fundamental knowledge of the main pathologies of the musculoskeletal system of traumatic and non-traumatic origins in adults and children and the principles of surgical, bloodless treatment. Acquire the knowledge and understanding of the main instrumental imaging tests used in the clinic and in traumatology. INTERNAL MEDICINE: identifying internal medicine pathologies through the ability to target their main clinical aspects and recognize their possible complications of orthopedic concern, particularly in areas that may require external and internal mechanical and biomechanical aids. GENERAL PATHOLOGY: acquire the conceptual and scientific tools to explain the causes and mechanisms of human diseases. Know the main pathogenic factors, the general principles of homeodynamic disorders of complex systems, reactions to biological damage with particular focus on inflammation, healing or chronicity processes.
