Learning objectives
Students will acquire knowledge on the anatomical-physiological pathology of postural orientation and postural control and the main neuro-musculoskeletal dysfunctions with reference to pathologies involving biomechanical alterations, postural reaction disorders and motor-sensory integration disorders. Dynamic analysis of postural disorders. Basic knowledge of physical principles and technologies applied to the detectors used in the prosthetic field, knowledge to process and filter detectors data. Students will acquire knowledge of the actuators and transducers characterizing the prosthetic systems and basic notions of telecommunications in order to understand the connection procedures between PC and prosthesis. They will also acquire knowledge of the principles of movement of exoskeletons and the kinematic basis of their movement and their applications. Acquire fundamental knowledge of a legal and health economics nature, on the organization of social and health services, in the light of the great legislative reforms over the last fifteen years, with particular reference to the organization in departments and the company deed. ELECTRONIC BIOENGINEERING APPLIED TO EXOSKELETON PROSTHESIS: Basic knowledge of the physical principles and technologies applied to the sensors used in the prosthetic world; knowledge to process and filter sensor data. Students will have the knowledge of the actuators and transducers used in prosthetic systems and of the basics of telecommunications in order to understand the connection procedures between PC and prosthesis. Principles of exoskeletons’ motion. BIOMECHANICANICAL REHABILITATION AND POSTUROMETRY TECHNIQUES: Pathophysiology of postural orientation and control both in healthy subjects and in patients with neuro-musculoskeletal disorders. Stabilometric assessment and posturographic/spatio-temporal parameters for the evaluation of postural control in static and dynamic conditions. Main concepts of physical and rehabilitation medicine aimed to recover from these disorders. ORGANIZATION OF THE PRACTICE: Historical-normative evolution of Italian health legislation. Current institutional and organizational structure of the Health System with reference to the practice. Strategic management of the healthcare companies in Veneto region, acquisition of the ability to identify characteristics, purposes, functions and decision-making levels; recognize the strengths and weaknesses of Lean Healthcare (theories and principles of Lean Organization applied to healthcare); define the characteristics of the organizational care models; knowing how to interpret the reference organizational context; recognize management actions.
