The course aims to introduce the student to the informative power of Radiology,, Computerized Tomography, Nuclear Medicine in the exploration of various organs and systems. To achieve this objective, the student must acquire the elementary notions relating to the modes of interaction between the forms of energy used by the individual methods and the normal and/or pathological biological structures, integrating them with the knowledge of the degree of invasiveness in particular the risk. At the end of the course, the student must distinguish the different types of radiation and the risks related to them and the radioprotection rules useful for avoiding them.
