Learning outcomes
The course aims to outline the main events of the twentieth and twenty-first century political and social history for the students to be provided with a proper understanding of the main themes relating to contemporary Italian, European and international history.
Program
Basic requirements:
Good knowledge of Italian language and knowledge of the basic facts of the nineteenth century history (based on the programmes of High Schools).
Course description:
The course aims to consider the period between the Belle Èpoque and the present day, placing great emphasis on two core themes of the twentieth century european and italian (by the way, their important anniversaries will be celebrated in 2016): the First World War and the birth of the Italian republic.
