Learning objectives
The course is intended to provide the student with the conceptual and methodological basis necessary to analyse and interpret the mechanisms and logics of business operation, with particular reference to the methods of synthesis and communication of management results.
At the end of the course, the student will be able to analyse the logic underneath business management and to interpret the results of management; to set out, in written and oral form, issues relating to the functioning of economic and management phenomena and to identify applicative solutions using an appropriate and specific jargon.

During the lectures (36 hours) the following topics of an institutional nature will be covered: - The concept of the company. - The company. - The management. - The organization - The detection of the results. - The economic, monetary and financial aspects of business management During the laboratory lessons (12 hours), topics related to the analysis and planning of business organization and human resource management will be dealt with.

Didactic methods
The course is divided into - 36 hours of frontal lessons, alternating lessons in which the fundamental notions of the subject will be studied in depth with others with a more practical slant; - 12 hours (1 CFU) of laboratory in remote mode, organized according to the Problem Based Solving (PBS) methodology, providing for the group discussion of case studies. The teaching materials used during the course (in particular for the laboratory part), which integrate the reference manual, will be provided to students via the "Moodle" e-learning platform.
Learning assessment procedures
The test takes place in written and oral form and covers the entire exam program.
Evaluation criteria
The exam is aimed at evaluate, in addition to acquiring the required knowledge, that students have acquired sufficient analytical skills. In particular, the written test is aimed at verifying the depth and breadth of the knowledge gained. The oral exam is aimed at verifying: - the property of language; the ability to systematically link knowledge; analytical and argumentative ability.
Criteria for the composition of the final grade
The final grade is expressed out of thirty and refers to the overall test (written and oral) considered
