Learning outcomes
The purpose of this course is to provide students with those basic conceptual elements that will help them to perceive the endless complexity of the legal phenomenon. Specifically, the course focuses on how the determination of the law is the result of a research process whose starting point and con-clusion can never be taken for granted by the jurist. In order to understand better the course’s main themes, the course program may also include lectures held by other professors as well as the use of visual tools as films.
Program
The course is divided into two parts. The first part introduces some basic concepts about the juridical experience learned by its historical evolution. The second part is devoted to legal reasoning, with particular regard to interpretation and argumentation.
