The aim of the course is to go deep in the essential problems of medieval history.

The aim of this course is to obtain the critical mastery of an historical probem; to found a correct relation between historical bibliography and the knowledge of documentary sources in the analysis of a problem; to master the sources about a specific problem. The topic is the political "experiment" of the italian cities in the communal age.
