Understanding the value of the relationship between the client requests’ and their interpretation in the works of the leading figures of Italian architecture in the 16th and in the beginning of the 17th centuries ( Donato Bramante, Giuliano da Sangallo, Antonio da Sangallo il V.; Antonio da Sangallo il G. , Baldassarre Peruzzi, Giulio Romano, Michele Sanmicheli, Michelangelo Buonarroti, Andrea Palladio, Carlo Maderno)

Examination Methods
L’esame verificherà la conoscenza degli argomenti affrontati nelle lezioni frontali e della bibliografia. Gli studenti dovranno dimostrare padronanza critica dei contenuti del corso, ovvero di saper analizzare i manufatti architettonici e il loro linguaggio contestualizzandoli rispetto alla propria epoca, alla biografia del loro architetto e allo sviluppo complessivo della storia dell’architettura in Italia e in Europa.
L’esame consisterà in una prova orale e farà riferimento alle immagini mostrate dal docente durante il corso. La prova sarà unica e la valutazione espressa in trentesimi.
