Learning outcomes

The course objective is to acquire knowledge about technology and computer literacy and skills in the use of the main work of individual productivity software and social networking.

Program

Part 1: How to change the world into the digital age
Work on the evolution of COMMUNICATION with the advent of digital technologies
The computer, network connections, the web as NEW STRATEGIC INFRASTRUCTURE Economic and Social Development.
Elements of complementary NEW TECHNOLOGIES AND SOCIAL SYSTEMS STRUCTURED: the synthesis between past and present for an ideal future.

Part 2: Tools and technologies available to be active
Instruments DIGITAL HARDWARE: technical features and multimedia components for basic and advanced.
The basic software tools for communication and management of professional activities.
OPERATING SYSTEMS and basic functionality of the PC
The WEB RESOURCES to support the professional
Word processing and editing of documents and publications
The DATA MANAGEMENT with spreadsheets
The PRESENTATION OF CONTENTS and activities in multimedia mode
The MANAGEMENT OF DIGITAL IMAGES to support the multimedia features of digital systems

Part 3: Methodologies for being part of a virtual learning community.
THE SOCIAL NETWORK as basic tools for network communication and activation of virtual communities.

Examination Methods

Written exam based on a series of 30 multiple choice questions followed by an oral test script. Final Assessment: Approved / Not Approved
