The academic calendar shows the deadlines and scheduled events that are relevant to students, teaching and technical-administrative staff of the University. Knowledge of the main cardiac diseases and the cardiovascular effects of physical activity on both physiological and pathological context

To teach students the basics of pharmacology important for the understanding of the risks and benefits associated with the use of drugs and substances. The course examines the mechanisms of action, effects, pharmacokinetics and adverse reactions of drugs with particular reference to some of the most commonly used classes in environment and motor sports.

Arrhythmias and sudden cardiac death; cardiovascular risk; acute and chronic ischemic heart disease; heart failure and cardiomyopathies; cardiologic rehabilitation; cardiovascular diagnostic.

MM: FARMACOLOGIA DELLE ATTIVITÀ MOTORIE E SPORTIVE

1. General pharmacology 1.1. Pharmacodynamics Drug interaction receptor, pharmacological potency, pharmacological effects, clinical effectiveness, competition and antagonism. The receptor: definition, mechanisms of action, adaptation. 1.2. Pharmacokinetics Absorption and the different routes of drug administration. Distribution and blood levels. Metabolism: induction, inhibition, drug interactions. Elimination. Concepts and pharmacokinetic parameters: dosage, maximum dose, daily dose, dosage, clearance, half-life, peak blood, therapeutic range, toxic concentrations. 2. Pharmacotherapy Definitions of drug, placebo, medicinal product, packaging, pharmaceutical formulations. Critical issues related to the use of drugs: tolerance, interactions, compliance, self prescription. 3. Therapeutic Pharmacology Anti-inflammatory drugs. Corticosteroids and derivatives. Respiratory drugs. Fundamentals of drug addiction. Autonomic nervous system drugs Anabolic steroids Insulin, growth hormone, other hormones Erythropoietin and blood doping Growth factors and their use as muscle doping Supplements adopted for sport

Gestione carriere


Orario lezioni

L'orario è diviso in due file excel distinti (laurea triennale e lauree magistrali),
all'interno, ogni file è composto da più fogli (linguette), ognuna delle quali corrisponde ad un preciso anno/curriculum.

Le lezioni verranno erogate in presenza e verrà inoltre messa a disposizione per gli studenti la videoregistrazione per almeno 1 mese dalla data della lezione stessa.
Le esercitazioni e i laboratori verranno organizzati in sottogruppi dai singoli docenti responsabili dei corsi e la presenza verrà rilevata dal docente il giorno stesso.
E' confermato l'obbligo di frequenza al 70% (in presenza o in videoregistrazione), come da Regolamento dei corsi di laurea e laurea magistrale.

Per accedere alle lezioni che si terranno in presenza è OBBLIGATORIO prenotare il proprio posto in aula, che sarà disponibile a breve.

Internships are aimed at enabling students to gain direct knowledge of the world of work and to acquire specific professional skills.

Internships are carried out under the responsibility of an individual lecturer, and can be carried out in professional firms, public administration bodies and companies recognised by the University of Verona.

Any CFU credits gained by doing internships will be recognised and recorded by the University in accordance with the relevant University regulations in force (Regolamento d’Ateneo per il riconoscimento dei crediti maturati negli stage universitari).
