Female voices and faces in the Russian 20th century
The course starts with a historical analysis, which aims to provide the categories the student needs for interpreting the complex socio-cultural dynamics that characterize the Russian 20th century. Some women were protagonists and others, the majority, were victims and witnesses in this century shaped by ideology and violence.
