Understanding the economic and financial management of wine businesses.
Students will be able to analyze the budget items, and their indexes.
Program
Schedule of lectures:
Business classification, structure and definition of firms. Focus on wine sector.
The factors of production and their evaluation
Business management aspects: financial, economic, asset management.
Financial and economic equilibrium of the enterprise.
The assessment of the company's economy
the financial statements; reclassification and analysis of the balance sheet and income statement.
The assets and liabilities of the balance sheet.
Economic cost of crop production
Economic Investment Analysis: Business Plan, Cash Flows, Current Net Value, Internal Rate of Return.
Break-even point analysis: the case of wine sector

Examination Methods
The exam will be written and it is is organize as follow:
- Part 1) open questions regarding the entire teaching program
- Part 2) exercise with budget analysis
The final evaluation will be unique for the two parts and it will be expressed in thirtieths. The exam methods will be the same for students attending and not attending. During the examination the use of any teaching material will not be allowed.
