Imaging and Radiotherapy Diagnostics (2018/2019)
The teaching is organized as follows:
Learning outcomes
At the end of this lesson module, the student will be able to understand the main diagnostic and molecular imaging methods in clinical use. The student will acquire knowledge on the principles of radiation protection for both patients and operators on radiation interactions with matter and on the side effects of ionizing radiation, and how to behave accordingly. The student will gain insights into the general concepts of the operation of the various imaging diagnostic techniques and will have observed some clinical examples of each.
