Learning outcomes
The aims of course give to students the ability to apply correctly the dental hygiene methods and recognition of gingival inflammatory changes and to propose preventive measures for all dental diseases induced by bacterial plaque . Furthemore will be discuss the founding principles of basic dental care- home treatment and dental care- professional treatment that including professional oral Hygiene , scaling , root planing , root debridement and polishing.

1. PERIODONTAL THERAPY
Personal health , dental and medical ;examination of the patient with periodontal disease ;
the probing depth ;
Bleeding on probing ;
clinical attachment level;
Furcation involvement ;
tooth mobility ;
Oral hygiene;
Objectives of causal therapy ;
The motivation;
Effects of supragingival plaque control without subgingival instrumentation ;
Effects of subgingival instrumentation with the subgingival plaque control ;
Effects of subgingival instrumentation in the various sites .
2. PATIENTS MOTIVATION
