Students are provided with the knowledge about the anatomy of the mouth edentulous, the physiology of the process of bone atrophy and the resulting structural changes of the supportive dentoalveolar apparatus.
On top of this, students will be given the necessary information to design and develop removable dentures along with the basic knowledge of removable partial denture; upon completion of the course (students will be provided with) the prosthetic treatment and the basic guidelines for developing fixed prosthesis on natural teeth.
