Learning outcomes

The course aims to deepen the knowledge of anatomy, pathophysiology and some clinical cases for evaluating these aspects either through an orthopedic specialist and surgical approach integrated with nursing knowledge. The issues will be addressed considering their onset and evolution, highlighting the assessment of patients through the choice of evidence-based cares and Patients needs. Thie course needs to know all the program of 1st y.

Definition and clinical approach to main muscular-skeletal or soft tissue
Definitione of distraction, dislocation and fracture with clinical examinations
Incidence, etiology, healing stages, fracture's non union. femur fracture
Hip, knee and shoulder's pathologies and prosthesis
Complex trauma with pelvic fracture: Patient's approach
Pediatric trauma: different approach and treatment
