Learning outcomes
Principles of pediatric rehabilitation.
Approach to the newborn and the child: motor, cognitive, relational and communication skills acquired in particular in the first years of life and specifically significant in the habilitation / rehabilitation field.
Observation and evaluation as tools for the differentiation between the variables of normality and pathology during the development of psychomotor skills.
Evaluation tools of: functional systems, global motor skills, autonomy; ICF-CY.
Evolution of approaches and methodologies of habilitation, rehabilitation and psychomotor intervention.
Current approaches in the rehabilitation of motor development disorders and in orthopedic problems in developmental age.
Orthoses and aids as rehabilitation and self-help tools.
Program
TEACHING METHODS
Lectures (with slides), presentation of clinical cases, work in small groups and discussion in plenary in order to try to bring what has been learned on a purely theoretical level into the concrete clinical case.
Examination Methods
MM: Methodology of rehabilitation in developmental age

Written exam with both general and detailed questions, in relation to the topics covered in class. Oral exam in progress. The aim is to evaluate the results of the expected learning. The evaluation will be expressed out of thirty.
