Learning outcomes
Understand and plan a physiotherapeutic intervention in the geriatric field in a multi-professional team
- Learn the tools for evaluating the gait and the risk of falling into the elderly
- Evaluate the elderly with dementia, plan and perform a specific physiotherapeutic treatment
- Knowing the skills to propose therapeutic exercise in the elderly patient and with dementia
- Assess dysphagia and plan a specific physiotherapeutic treatment, also identifying
compensatory interventions to be proposed to the assistance team
- Plan and perform a physiotherapy treatment in elderly patients with a femoral fracture
- Know the risks and problems related to immobilization syndrome and know the
tools to prevent it
- Understand the meaning of the containment, know the modalities of application or not
