Learning outcomes
Understanding the path of the patient suffering from oncological disease and the importance of physiotherapy and rehabilitation intervention. Identify the professionals involved in the oncology field and understand the importance of multidisciplinarity for effective team work. Know the sequelae of rehabilitation interest based on: type of tumor, surgical approach, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, hormone therapy, immunotherapy. Identify the correct rehabilitation approach in patients with thoracic and breast cancer and in patients in the palliative phase. Know the pathophysiology, guidelines and rehabilitation treatment of lymphedema in oncology.

Examination Methods
The final exam is intended to verify the knowledge of the areas of physiotherapy intervention in the areas of prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of the problems of the cancer patient, including the sequelae of the pathology but also of the chemotherapeutic and surgical interventions and other therapies used in the treatment of this . Knowledge of the pathophysiology of the lymphatic system and how physiotherapeutic intervention can contribute to the treatment of lymphedema will also be evaluated.
