Learning outcomes
The student learns to observe the activity in the outpatient clinics in its entirety, with particular focus on the procedures for receiving the patient, preparing the odontostomatological clinic and related radiographic documentation, preparing the unit and the equipment needed for medical intervention, assistance to the operator, patient leave, compilation of the presenatical medical records and the compilation of administrative data, as well as managing the appointments calendar, decontamination and disinfection of the operating area, conveyance of contaminated instrumentation at the sterilization plant and storage and re-sterilization of sterile and sterilized instrumentation.
Program
The student learns about the techniques and their effectiveness and uses the methods and tools for index detection in relation to dento-gingival pathologies; acquires knowledge suitable for the use of oral and professional oral hygiene and oral materials and instruments in order to achieve the prevention of carious pathology and the treatment of periodontal disease. Learn to know and use home and professional presidencies to control bacterial plaque; to motivate and instruct the patient to control and remove oral bacterial plaque in order to prevent, reduce and control or-dental pathologies in the various clinical frameworks, as well as managing appointment schedules, decontamination and disinfection of the operating area, to the convoy of contaminated instrumentation at the sterilization plant.

Examination Methods
The exam will be practical and oral and will focus on internships
