Learning outcomes

The course aims to provide the student with methods and strategies for communicating with the patient. It also offers an in-depth study of the founding principles of the care relationship, of the techniques and strategies for managing effective communication with the person and the family. It aims to develop educational planning skills, to foster the learning of skills and self-care and empowerment.

Program

- Introduction to the subject, change behavior
- Communication and counseling, motivational interviewing
- Short interventions for behavior change
- Principles of behavior change in the dental office
- Educate in health care to change behavior, example of sitting with the patient
