The teaching is organized as follows:
Learning objectives
The teaching aims to develop advanced competences in the field of qualitative, experimental and organizational research with declinations in the socio-sanitary contexts. EPISTEMOLOGY OF QUALITATIVE RESEARCH: Learning outcomes: to deepen the knowledge and the competencies needed to elaborate and monitor qualitative research projects useful to improve health contexts. To recognize the specificity of qualitative research in its paradigmatic, philosophical, epistemological and methodological lines. To become aware of the ethical value of a research project, which is expressed in taking responsibility for epistemic choices.APPLIED QUALITATIVE RESEARCH: Learning outcomes: to analyse and design studies and qualitative research experiences contextualized in the socio-sanitary contexts, identifying their constituent elements, strengths and criticalities following an improvement perspective. CLINICAL AND EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH: Learning outcomes: to be able to critically read research articles (experimental study, cohort study, case control); to apply the knowledge acquired in the courses of statistics and epidemiology; to interpret the data from both a statistical and clinical point of view; interpret the survival analyses. To interpret a meta-analysis.ORGANIZATIONAL RESEARCH: Learning outcomes: To define the concept of Health Service nursing Research; debate on nursing management and research needs in the context of organizational research; identify the main differences in clinical and organisational research protocols; describe the concept of complex intervention and its implications for research; identify and describe research priorities for emerging research topics in the organisational field.
Criteria for the composition of the final grade
Final grade will be calculated on the basis of the number of correct answers.
