LEARNING GOALS
The course offers an introduction to the main historical, artistic and literary characteristics of Austrian culture between the Nineteenth and Twentieth century, focusing in particular on the works of the most representative authors of this period.

Der Kurs behandelt die Schwerpunkte der österreichischen Kultur und Literatur (Jahrhundertwende und Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts) und führt in das Werk der wichtigsten Autoren der Epoche ein. Im Zentrum steht die Lektüre und Analyse kanonischer Texte.

FORMAT FOR THE EAMINATIONS
The final exams will be oral and held in German.
