Legal, bioethic and deontological principles of professional practice (2019/2020)
The teaching is organized as follows:
Learning outcomes
The general aim of the course is to provide to the students the theoretical instruments for understanding the legal and professional ethics principles, which should inspire their professional behaviour in the relationship with the patients, the colleagues and the physicians.
In particular, the teaching will be focused on providing the legal and ethical tools in order to develop an autonomous, competent and responsible skills suitable for facing the new aspects coming from the technical and legislative advancements.
Program
The course includes three different modules:
- FORENSIC MEDICINE: principles from penal and civil codes useful for nursing practice;
- BIOETHICS: the historical and scientific reasons of the birth of a new branch of knowledge. Principles of Bioethics
- PROFESSIONAL DEONTOLOGY: principles which should inspire the nurses in the relationship with the patients, the colleagues and the physicians.
