Learning objectives
The course aims to present the methods and provide the conceptual tools for analysing and understanding the cultural, social and ideological aspects that characterise music in human societies. At the end of the course, students will acquire the conceptual, methodological and culturalknowledge and tools necessary to analyse and interpret the role and meaningse of music in some crucial moments of history, as well as the role of music as a mean for communication and interaction between human beings. Students will develop individual research skills.
