Relevant episodes in the history of Western architecture in different geographical areas of the peninsula will be taken into consideration in order to retrace the change of architectural language oriented by the interest and the study of ancient art and architecture.
A general part that will deal with the main centers of the new language (Florence, Rimini, Mantua, Urbino, Rome, Naples), will be followed by a second part of the course with lessons dedicated to the Veneto region where, from the mid-fifteenth century, the novelties of the Florentine and Roman Renaissance arrived.

The chosen topic will be the starting point to verify the knowledge of the topics covered in the course, the ability to analyze the architecture and to relate them to the contexts.
The preparation of a digital notebook of images by the candidate is an integral part for the access to the exam, whose evaluation will be expressed in thirtieths.
