Academic calendar
The academic calendar shows the deadlines and scheduled events that are relevant to students, teaching and technical-administrative staff of the University. Public holidays and University closures are also indicated. The academic year normally begins on 1 October each year and ends on 30 September of the following year.

Learning outcomes
By attending the class the student will learn the main approaches developed (both holistic and deterministic) for describing and predicting the human movement. The students will receive basic information about the control and learning of human movement. In particular, the control of movement, the perception action coupling and the related emergent features defined from movement behavior. At the end of the class the student is supposed to know the contents presented during class by showing a critical and individual capacity of judgment and evaluation of cases ranged from the sport environment to the movements performed in the everyday life.
Program
Dimensional analysis: dimensions and units of measurements. Dimensional analysis applications in complex movements and in sport. The brain and its behavior, the voluntary movement, locomotion, the posture, the eye control, the vestibular system. Being able to interpret and read graphs: linear and non linear measures. The functional organization of perception and movement. The internal representation of space and movement. The cognitive functions of premotor systems. The organization and preplanning of movements. Locomotion. Voluntary movement: the primary motor cortex. Voluntary movement: the parietal and premotor cortex. The posture. The perceptual-motor ability from elite athletes: several examples from several sports. This issue will be related to the msot recent literature review.

Examination Methods
There will be a written examination with the possibility to ask for an extra oral exam in case of a positive evaluation obtained during the written part.
Questions for each exam will be a total number of 60 to be answered in 50 minutes of time. Questions will cover issues extrapolated from the entire program presented to the class. For each correct question will be assigned 1 point for each non correct question the point will be 0.
Only in the case the student will obtain a total point of 18 during the written exam, the student can ask for a verbal evaluation. For sustaining this exam the student will take take an ad hoc appointment with the teacher.

Internships
Internships are aimed at enabling students to gain direct knowledge of the world of work and to acquire specific professional skills.
Internships are carried out under the responsibility of an individual lecturer, and can be carried out in professional firms, public administration bodies and companies recognised by the University of Verona.
Any CFU credits gained by doing internships will be recognised and recorded by the University in accordance with the relevant University regulations in force (Regolamento d’Ateneo per il riconoscimento dei crediti maturati negli stage universitari).

N.B. Si ricorda di confermare la prenotazione del posto nel momento in cui si accede all’aula.
Le esercitazioni e i laboratori verranno organizzati in sottogruppi dai singoli docenti responsabili dei corsi e sarà necessario frequentarle in sede e solamente per queste non sarà necessaria la prenotazione del posto ma verrà rilevata la presenza dal docente il giorno stesso.
E' confermato l'obbligo di frequenza al 70% (in presenza o in videoregistrazione), come da Regolamento dei corsi di laurea e laurea magistrale.
L'accesso alle pagine Moodle dei singoli insegnamenti è vincolato alla compilazione del piano di studi.
