Learning outcomes
The main object of this course is to introduce the world of Italian Melodrama
Program
The course is divided into two sections:
1) a quick “excursus” of the History of Melodrama from the origins to the Nineteenth Century;
2) listening of Melodramas in which the character of Figaro is protagonist (Il Barbiere di Siviglia of G. Paisiello; Le nozze di Figaro of W.A. Mozart; Il Barbiere di Siviglia of G. Rossini)
