Learning outcomes

In the contest of science of education and training the course continues in dealing with the subject of struggle for existence in the adult population in a globalized and multicultural world and through the possibilities of educational and formational experiences to put into action resources and resiliencies, personal and collective, in the adult population. The formative pathway will be mainly methodological: through narrative meetings of personal and group stories, practices and work experiences in the field of clinical pedagogy and socially critical pedagogy in the territory and community, the course participants will be invited to question themselves about how to develop a process of transformation and change in the adult population through individual, group, and local pathways, which will keep in consideration the past and personal stories as well as the knowledge conveyed from the group of origin.

Program

Process about construction, reconstruction and transformation of the adult identity in the post-modern era, in a global society, when encountering people and groups with different languages and cultures.
Stories about life through personal memories and collective scenarios: conveyance of knowledge among people, genders and different generations.
Which education to the community, which education of the community: how to promote, consolidate, and develop experiences of local encounters between groups of different backgrounds.

Examination Methods

Didactic Organization
The course will be structured according to the following modalities:
Lessons and interactive seminars, also with the utilization of audiovisual material produced by the lecturer.
Small work group experiences (4-5 students)
Research exercises with narrative methods, multimedia, and in writing;
Individual and group work and research presentation;
Keeping of a diary about a journey of practical learning and experience
Selection and organization of personal work for a web site.

Exam Modality
Evaluation will be an ongoing process. The final exam will be an oral assessment regarding the topics reviewed during the course. A written examination will be provided upon request and it will be allowed to be discussed during the oral evaluation, upon condition that the topics are in relation to personal experience. The written transcript will need to be turned in a week prior to the oral examination.
