Learning outcomes

To allow the students to introduce themselves in the field of family pediatric activity

Program

With the method of Problem Based Learning, starting from cases observed in paediatric territorial setting, the students will analyse the problems related to diagnosis, relationship, therapy of paediatric outpatients who refer to the paediatric care. After an initial 2-hour seminar to share the training methodology, the students will be individually assigned to the Pediatricians of Free Choice. Each student will attend, after agreement with the pediatrician/tutor, the ambulatory for a total of 10 hours.
At the end of all students' attendance there will be a two-hour final seminar for the systematization of the experience with discussion on the critical issues encountered.
